The Pallet lift/stacker is a “bottom up” automatic pallet stacking machine that takes unloaded/empty pallets off of an automated conveyor system that is positioned directly in front of it.  

Lift/Stacker Sequence of Operations:

A powered roller, belt, or other type of conveyor system brings emptied pallets under the Stacker’s forks to be readied for stacking, (see the drawing).  

Once the Stacker recognizes a pallet on the conveyor in front of it, it stops the conveyor to precisely position the pallet under the forks and sets down any previously accumulated pallets that it is holding on top of the empty pallet on the stopped conveyor.

It then retracts its forks and drops down to the height of the empty pallet on the conveyor. 

Then it extends the forks out and into the pallet on the conveyor and lifts the stack above the pass-line of the height of the empty pallets coming to it on the conveyor system and waits for the next pallet to come along

Once the height of the stack accumulates to a predetermined height it drops the stack on the last empty pallet on the conveyor and the automated conveyor system moves/stages that entire stack over to an adjacent conveyor for pick up.
